UKBFC serves as the primary holding company for the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians, overseeing a portfolio of operating businesses that span healthcare, hospitality, finance, technology, construction, and professional services.
Established to create sustainable economic opportunity and diversify tribal revenue, UKBFC operates with a business-first approach guided by professional governance, operational discipline, and a commitment to long-term growth.
We are governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an experienced Executive Director, ensuring stable oversight, strategic planning, and accountability to our stakeholders and the communities we serve.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Federal Corporation is to enhance the employment opportunities of UKB members, while providing revenues that may further the corporate, business and economic development activities of the tribe. Through these activities, the tribe can raise revenue to address other matters of interest to its members including public health, safety and welfare.
